Pollen was a startup idea to use a local University's marketing students and pair them with small businesses to help establish and build an online social media presence. Pollen would facilitate this symbiotic relationship to result in stronger local business and an opportunity for experience on behalf of the students.
PROCESS
The name Pollen came from the comparison of pollenating bees to students working with local organizations.
Pollen was a very fast moving project in which the client needed a pitch deck and website within a very small amount of time. The signature mark was a quick and simple solution given the constraints of time and budget. The color palette was derived from the obvious reference to pollen with the addition of navy blue and white. The goal was to keep the content as much as possible to visual representations of ideas.
